M-Fuge & Crosspoint Report Night

This Sunday night, June 29, during the PM service will be our camp report night. I encourage everyone to come hear from our campers about what God did while we were at camp.

This is the last day

This is the last day for us at our ministry tracks. There have been some amazing stories to come out of this week from all groups, not just ours. Our high schoolers have come together and began to bond with each other. I have loved watching every minute of this take place. God is SO good!

Tonight is Mega Relay and our last full worship service. My prayer this week has been that God gives us all a soft heart that seeks after His Kingdom and His Glory. He is definately working in the lives of our high schoolers. I’m am so excited for them to share this Sunday night as well as hearing from our Crosspoint campers.

We are at camp!

Well after a morning of swimming in the Gulf and shopping, we are camp! We will be eating supper soon and kicking off the week. I am so excited and I can tell our students are as well. Please continue to pray that God will just open up all of our hearts to more of who He is.

We made it to Mobile

It took us about 7 hours but we made it to Mobile safe and sound. We are the Courtyard Marriott and not the Mobile Marriott. That was my mistake. :(

We had a good supper, then most went swimming at the hotel, and now we are about to have a devotion and talk about the week before going to bed. We will be going to the beach tomorrow morning and camp check in begins at 1PM tomorrow afternoon. Everyone is excited about camp and I’m looking forward to a great week. Personally, I am anxious to see what God has in store for us.

More updates to come . . . .

On Wednesday, July 9, we will be taking a day trip to Holiday World/Splashing Safari (www.holidayworld.com) in Santa Claus, IN. Both Middle School and High School groups will be attending. Extra money will be needed for lunch, supper, and snacks. I need to know by June 22 who can go. The cheapest I can get tickets is to reserve them 2 weeks in advance. Please let me know as quickly as you can if you can go so I can reserve your spot.

If you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to contact me.

If you are an adult who would like to go with us please Contact me.

CrossPoint Update – Thursday night

This week has been an awesome week! God always shows up at camp in the most unique and powerful ways. He’s so cool like that you know!

Anyway, last night (Wednesday), 3 of our girls were saved before they went to bed. Several rededicated/recommitted their lives to Christ and I know of at least 1 of our guys made a decision for Christ and another is asking questions.

They have learned this week that 1) they need to know God’s word in order to 2) share it with their friends and 3) they have been gifted by God to give back to Him and serve Him with their lives. It has been a great week. Coach Ryan (the camp pastor) has done an outstanding job at presenting God’s Word so that everyone can understand it and make a decision accordingly.

Tonight he was preaching on the gifts that God gives and used the band as an example as he added each instrument. The bulid up, the anticipation, the emotion, the principle of Scripture, the worship song they played all combined for a powerful time of worship that left a mark on everyone’s mind and in everyone’s soul.
