Nan Update: Faithful Friends :)
Hey Prayer Warriors !
How are ya? Penny, Emily and I are holding the fort down here in Niamey.:) Things are getting alittle easier and more complicated at the same time. Mine and Penny’s bodies are finally getting used to the time and climate but language is still kinda tough, I know your thinking “Nan you’ve only been there 3 days calm down.” but its difficult we’re your in the city and trying to shop and communicate with people who speak 5 different dialects and none of which are English:) its quite a challenge but we’re enjoying it and the People are absolutely amazing. Yesterday Penny and I had the opportunity of spending the majority of the day with a wonderful Nigerien lady who spoke no english so it was fun, 
but she took us to different villages and just shared the everyday life of the People with us. It was amazing.
but she took us to different villages and just shared the everyday life of the People with us. It was amazing. Today we met with our Supervisors for the first time face to face, Brandy and Kanesa. They are wonderful as well. We spent acouple hours talking about the vision for the next 4 months and how things are going out in our future home village of Moli. God is really moving there which is very encouraging but it also brings with it alot of struggle. Brandy made the comment that “alot of the Zerma in Moli are ready to believe” to which I replied “it sounds like Moli is on the brink of Harvest” Brandy and Kanesa both looked down and said “we’re not going to tell you it’s going to be easy… Because God is working, its harder. The enemy has turned up the attack 50 notchs.”
…. hmmm Praise God. So I’m going to give you acouple of different very specfic prayer request but always keep Moli and the people there in your mind and that our Spirits would be strong and ready for what all is ahead.
Another interesting thing happened today at the Market. Emily, Penny and Myself had gone to the Petite Marche (little market) to buy cloth to have tradition clothing made for us and on our way back to the car we were confronted by a young boy, and I don’t know how to explain it besides Mark 9:17-18 read that and you’ll understand. These were the verses that came to mind and when I heard him try to speak but could not these verses were confirmed in my spirit. He also grabed Penny’s and Emily’s wrist to get their attention and they both made mention that he had alot of strength. It’s real here. Pray for our boldness and strength 3 days in and it’s already around.
Sorry I kind of wrote a book this time But I hope all is well back in the States and want you all to know in Penny and my prayer time every night we pray blessings over all of our prayer partners so please let me know if there’s anything we can pray for you about.
