We are In-Transit

Youth VBS 2011: In Transit kicked off in full gear last night.  The Chris Beck band led us in worship and David Greer did an outstanding job teaching the Bible study.  We all are looking forward to tonight as Lydia Walker leads us in worship and we have a guest teacher for Bible study.  A few things to remember:

1. Our missions offering is going to support the tornado relief effort in Alabama.  You read more here: http://www.alsbom.org/tornadorelief. Our goal is bring in $800.
2. Our one night attendance goal is 75.  If we have 75 students in attendance on a single night, Bro. Jeff and Bro. Mark will  be the first duo to sumo wrestle on Friday night.
3. The sumo wrestling suits make their return this year on Friday night.  In order to participate, you must complete the following permission form and have it notarized: Hold Harmless Agreement – Dunk Tank Sumo Wrestling 2011.  Note: There are notaries available at the church and your parent(s) must come inside to sign the form in front of a notary.
